What data we process and why

  • Making appointments. Name, email address, phone number and the chosen treatment, to schedule and confirm your appointment. Basis: performance of a contract. Online appointments are handled through Salonized.
  • Skin analysis and treatment. Information about your skin and relevant health information (such as allergies, medication or pregnancy) needed to treat you safely. This is special category personal data; we process it only with your explicit consent and only for your treatment. The treatment file is kept in Salonized.
  • Newsletters and offers. If you have given consent, we send you emails about our treatments and promotions via Salonized. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
  • Contact. Information you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp, to answer your question. Basis: legitimate interest.
  • Website visit. Technical data and, only with your consent, analytics and marketing cookies (see below).
  • Webshop. Orders via webshop.glamskin.nl are covered by the webshop privacy policy.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use functional cookies that are necessary for the website to work. We place analytics cookies (Google Analytics) and marketing cookies (Google Ads, Meta Pixel) only if you give consent via the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time via the cookie banner on our website. A full overview of the cookies is in our cookie policy.

Please note: the online booking module of Salonized measures how the module is used (for example, starting and completing a booking) via Google Analytics. This measurement runs through Salonized and is separate from your cookie choice on our website. For more information, see the privacy policy of Salonized.

Who we share data with

We never sell your data. We work with service providers who process data on our behalf, with whom we have made agreements on security and confidentiality:

  • Salonized (online appointments, client file and email marketing)
  • STRATO (hosting of this website)
  • Google (Analytics, Ads, Tag Manager, Maps)
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram advertising, only with consent)
  • Kiyoh (reviews)
  • WhatsApp (if you contact us via WhatsApp)

Some of these parties may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case appropriate safeguards apply, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep data

  • Appointment and client data: for as long as you are a client and up to 2 years after your last appointment
  • Treatment file: 20 years
  • Invoices: 7 years (statutory retention period)
  • Messages via email or WhatsApp: a maximum of 2 years

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict processing, to object, and to have your data transferred. You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time. Send your request to enschede@glamskin.nl; we respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, such as a secure (HTTPS) connection and restricted access to client data.
